You can expect a typical on-your-lot building process to look like this:

1. Find your perfect North Carolina lot

2. Decide on a floor plan and create a wish list of finishes, features and upgrades

3. Work with a Caruso Homes representative to create a cost estimate based on cost of the lot, lot finishing, base cost of the house, and pricing for any upgrade options

4. Apply for a Construction-to-Perm loan with one of our preferred lenders

5. Meet with our specialists to review the building process, sign your contract and receive a timeline of construction

6. Go to settlement on your Construction-to-Perm loan -- this loan will include the purchase of your lot and the cost to build your home

6. Construction begins! Our team will keep you informed throughout the construction process.

7. Walk-through orientation with your project manager to show you how your new house works. We'll also go over review our warranty procedure.

8. Key Exchange -- On this day you will sign the final paperwork, receive your keys and are now ready to move into your new home!
